Our Game Gear Chest Plates are designed to protect the dogs neck and chest, while allowing free movement in the legs. Made from several layers of 12oz canvas, these vests are strong, but light. Velcro fastening round neck, and clips around top of the dogs shoulders. This vest also has loops and a protective sleeve for fitting tracking gear around the neck.

They are designed to be used with Tracking Collars, so not just designed for rope dogs. Finders that dont mind getting stuck in before back up arrives are a good candidate for our Chest Plates.

Dogs normally take two hunts before they are happy with wearing these vet bill saving tools. We recommend letting your dog wear it around the house for a few hours when you first get your Chest Plate.

Chest plate

Might chest plate. Ordered it and not even 48 hours later was at me door. Took it out that Saturday morning straight into it with a scrappy wee 90lb boar in the thick shit. No worries from the dog at all. Only thing is that probably won’t be using it much in warmer conditions. Me ole mate blew out before every other dog. Cheers game gear!!

Rip vest review

I think the neck peace is too big, I run hard dogs an I’m not really a fan of rip collars but I think this product has a lot of potential, the places I hunt are amongst the hardest to catch pigs anywhere in nz because the pigs are chased around all weekend by a lot of hunters an it’s thick forestry , so I like my dogs to be as free from any restrictions as possible she didn’t seem to be able to move her neck she was walking side ways lol. But I think to fix that you make the neck smaller I like the chin flap idea too but also needs to be smaller . My bitch has a small neck she’s a English bull terrier cattle x I think this vest would be great if it was customised to the dog . All ya need around the neck to me is the tracking collar peace an cut it off there with chin flap smaller in width. I would like mine customised to that.
