Usage instructions are as follows:

Use two 50ml capfuls per garment. For best results, we recommend washing waterproof garments separately.
For top-loading washing machines double the amount of product being used.
Wash on a full cycle (wash, rinse, and spin) 
Heat activation is required for this product to work correctly. Tumble dry on a low heat, or apply heat via a hair dryer.

Waterproofing easy

I used the Grangers Wash and Repel in my washing machine [topload model], put it on a warm, gentle cycle with extended time by using soak mode. Put in 3 jackets so used the full 300 ml bottle. After wash put into dryer as directed and now extremely happy with the outcome. Jackets are repelling water instead of soaking it up. Really easy to use. Not noticed any issues with next load of washing in machine. Would recommend this product. Will be buying more.
