Possuming in the Caitlins, and then, in his teens, pig-hunting around Central Otago. A shift to South Canterbury in his 20's so he and his wife and family could take on a transport business, meant new country and even more pig hunting and dogs, shared with many a mate from all over New Zealand.

Loved the book I enjoy reading stories of other peoples hunts as they bring back memories the book is well written and had me hooked straight away I recommend it to anyone that likes hunting and it’s great to read in front of the fire when you cannot be out there hunting yourself
