Our Game Gear Cocoon offers the best features of both a hammock and tent in one. Super easy to set up, it is just so comfortable when used in its hammock form, we reckon after saying goodbye to sleeping on rocks, roots, mud, bugs, and sloping, uneven ground you will never look back.
Our Cocoon Hunting Hammock is basically a floating bivy that allows you to rise above it all and if you ever find yourself in a position where you can’t hang it, simply stake it out on flat ground and you have the ultimate bivy.
Most hammocks requires separate rain fly and bug protection -our floating bivy features full bug protection with a lightweight high-density polyester fiber mesh. Weather protection is provided by the clip in waterproof cover made from super durable 260T polyester waterproof rain fly. The mesh and waterproof cover are framed up using two 7 series aluminum poles that provide volume and space within the hammock.
Supplied FREE with every Hammock is our 3 season under quilt - this hanging sleeping bag is designed specifically to attach under your hammock and insulates underneath.
I really really rate this design. Easy to set up and adjust. I did alot of adjusting. If you happen to have a bit of a spare tyre like I do in the front then set it a bit higher than you think you should. Trees do bend 😅 get it nice and level or your end up like a banana at the bottom end of it all. Gravity has a way of piling you and your spare tyre up in one corner.
Having the quilt on in summer I ended up a bit warm and had to ditch the extra layers. In winter time its epic. Just in yah sleeping bag and set an alarm or you'll sleep in!! Im 6ft and 104 kegs and I fit in just right. Might be a squeeze for a 7ft person. But just stick your feet out and you'll be right

Amazing product
I was meant to do a review on this ages ago but I really wanted to use it in different situations first to really give a proper review. My first time sleeping in it was very uncomfortable, but purely my own fault as I didn’t have it level at each end so slid down all night and because I was warm and to lazy to get out I couldn’t be bothered adjusting in the middle of the night . Next night was awesome because I had it at level. Now I know how important this step is. Because you have a great sleep then. Overall brilliant and quick to set up as long as you have suitable distance trees. But even if you don’t have two trees one end can be to a vehicle, I tied mine to my ute bars. Have not tried it on the ground yet but will sometime and I’m sure it be great. I just love this design and just works so well . The nights I stayed in it were near lake Taupo and got a bit chilly at night but I was warm and toasty in the hammock.

One of the best camping things I’ve bought
Spent a couple nights in it so far. Fairly easy to set up. Very comfortable. Had rain and wind aswell and it held up just fine. Didn’t get wet at all. Hopefully it will hold up in the long run but so far great.
